Freestyle

Freestyle Skiing at MSA emphasizes “free skiing” although moguls skiing can be an integral part of the program. Our Freestylers compete in both U.S.A.S.A. and U.S.S.A. Eastern Division Championship events, the precursor to the Junior Olympics and the Nationals.

We stress a combined training program over a specialized one in an effort to create the all around skier: one who tackles the steeps, bumps, jumps, the park and the pipe with the wisdom of a fierce competitor and the joy of someone out to have a great time.

The Mount Snow Resort has committed itself to supporting Freestyle by continually improving “Mount Snow’s Greatest Hits” (jumps, banks, spines, and tabletops located on a mix of trails across the resort’s five mountain faces). Mount Snow’ s Super-Pipe ranks among the best in the East.
